Besides being able to see the meaning of any words that are being translated, the program can also vocalise words in up to sixteen different languages (Spanish included). However, this feature, unlike the regular translator, is not free (you have to buy it in the app).
For iTranslate to work properly, you need to be connected to the Internet, as the size of the database it too large to fit on an Apple terminal. However, with either 3G or Wi-Fi, you can enjoy the translation smoothly and at an acceptable speed.
iTranslate ~ the universal translator is an essential application for any trip abroad, and will always be on hand to get you out of trouble.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
